Ann Roth wrote romances for over seven years before she made her first sale.
Her husband and daughters soon grew used to the mother with the dazed look in her eyes, the woman who would become euphoric when the story was going well, and who bemoaned life when the creative muse knotted up. Her family knew she wasn't crazy, just consumed; but the poor cat got terribly confused.
All the while, Ann kept writing those stories that wouldn't go away.
Her daughters are now college-age and happily pursuing their own dreams. But her husband and the cat are still there, providing support, encouragement, and love. And the stories continue to fill her head. Ann hopes they never stop!
