Anne Fraser was born in Scotland but brought up in Africa. She returned to Scotland once she finished school, but still returns to Africa whenever she can. She only recently started writing for Mills & Boon. Although she has always loved reading she never imagined that one day she would be writing for other’s enjoyment.

Anne started life as a nurse after travelling and working all over the world, including a year in a kibbutz. She met her husband a doctor, just before leaving nursing to read English at Aberdeen University. Once she finished her degree, she and her husband spent a number of years in Africa, Australia and Canada living and working. Their daughter was only seven weeks old when they went abroad, often staying in remote and impoverished parts of the world. Anne says it was ignorance at the sheer hard work and the loneliness involved that prevented her from thinking twice about taking their daughter with them.

Anne still works in the medical field and she, her husband and two daughters live in Glasgow. When not writing or working Anne loves to walk, play tennis and read. She still loves to travel whenever she gets the chance and can now feels she can justify her time away in foreign locations as research!
